A 24" louvered gable vent is as small of a size as we will make in a triangle unless you really need it.  The 36" louvered vent is good for a shed gable vent.  48" triangle gable vents are found on many garages.  Pole barns usually require a larger 60" louvered vent.  72" gable vents can be used on a house with an average size gable.  The 84" triangle gives your house better ventilation.  For a shop gable, you may want a 108" louvered attic vent.  And the 120" triangle louver will give the best venting to your attic area.

Better venting of your house attic will control the temperature of your entire house naturally and save your AC from running continuousely.
